I am an MSc student in Prof. Yaniv Elkouby’s lab at the Department of
Developmental Biology and Cancer Research at the Hebrew University of
Jerusalem. My research focuses on the cellular and molecular mechanisms
underlying oocyte development, with particular emphasis on identifying novel
regulators of Balbiani Body formation and characterizing centrosome behavior
during oogenesis. Using zebrafish as a model system, I take part in ongoing
projects building upon the work of Swastik Kar and Karine Levy, aiming to
understand how cytoskeletal organization and organelle dynamics contribute
to oocyte polarity and early developmental competence.
