I am a research associate and lab manager in the Elkouby Lab. I earned my Ph.D. from the Hebrew University under the supervision of Michal Linal, focusing on neuronal differentiation and prenatal stress. For my postdoctoral research in Tony Reid’s lab at UCSD, I shifted my focus to studying the effects of a tumor-selective adenovirus on ovarian cancer cells. After a brief venture into biotech, I joined the surgery department at Ichilov as a research associate, investigating the impact of hepatic resection on MDSCs and cancer.
Now, I support various projects in the lab, look after the students, and aim to integrate immunological perspectives into the study of oocyte development.
Outside the lab, my wife, Shoshi, and I enjoy life with our five children. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking, and tackling cryptic crosswords.
